 ~  About Camelot House ~
At Camelot House, we focus on staying small, raising a couple litters a year and breeding by the Golden Retriever Club of America Breeder Code of Ethics. OFA Board Certified health clearances of the parents are of prime importance. We take health testing a step further by doing all of the genetic tests recommended.  All puppies are given immunizations and are microchipped.
Two events were held on Saturday, April 11, 2015: The March of Dimes March for Babies and the American Cancer Society's Bark for Life.

Mercedes at the Winston Salem Dog Training Club. In this video, you will see Mercedes and her classmates obeying the sit, down, stay, leave it and come commands. They all pass the distraction test with flying colors as they obey the leave it, stay and down commands while a battery operated mouse keeps their full attention in the center of their circle. Each owner was told to leave their dog at a stay, but to go no further away from them than they felt their dogs could handle. Mercedes has the stay command down pat.
Golden Retrievers of Camelot House, LLC, breeds by the Golden Retriever Club of America Breeder Code of Ethics. This involves obtaining health clearances on the parents that include OFA Board Certified hips, elbows, eyes and heart. We take it a step further by obtaining all of the genetic tests recommended as well.
The vides on this page are from 2015. Updates are planned at later date.

Nursing pups! This is a brief video of our Legacy Litter of 8 pups vigorously nursing at a mere 5 days of age. You can tell when Mom's milk comes down by seeing the change in their little bodies and hearing their seemingly loud gulping. Watch as some lose their spot and then quickly find it again. They are considered neonates from birth to two weeks of age. At this age, their ears and eyes are not yet open. They depend upon their mother for nourishment, cleaning and stimulating them to urinate, as well as have bowel movements. Mom Daisy is doing an excellent job of caring for her babies. They are now one week of age and have already doubled their weight. 2015
This is the Legacy litter at 3 weeks of age.
They are at a super cute, extra cuddly age where they love to snuggle with each other and find cozy places to sleep. They are beginning to get their baby teeth in and are starting to chew a little.  Overall, they are at a very sweet age.  Enjoy this little glimpse of snuggling, dozing and somewhat playful pups! 2015
At 3 1/2 weeks of age, the Legacy Litter of pups are becoming quite playful. Enjoy this video of Grey & Poppy playing outside on a warm summer afternoon. 2015
The pups LOVE their play area! It is much like a kid's playroom! It is full of items with various textures, items that move and ones that make sounds in an effort to develop confident, nonfearful, happy pups.  As you can see, the pups are all over the place and happy at play! 2015
Enjoy this video of a compilation of short videos and pictures of all eight pups of the 2015 Legacy litter over a two week time period.
"Be a Good Dog Owner"
This is an AKC commercial that ran in the Raleigh market in 2014.  It features actor James Denton where he talks about choosing the right breed for your lifestyle.  The pup at the beginning and end of the commercial is Finian.  He is from the Camelot Buddies September 2013 litter.   Finian now resides in Maryland.
